About the Country Fans Care for St. Jude Kids program:

Country Fans Care for St. Jude Kids is a friendly fund-raising program involving the fans of country music and country music performers.  The program unites fans and fan clubs from across the world for one goal – to raise money for the life-saving work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  

Through Country Fans Care, donations to St. Jude are made in honor of the donor’s favorite celebrity. The program allows fans to show support for their favorite entertainer, while helping the kids of St. Jude at the same time.

How can fans help?

Country Fans Care can work in a couple different ways. Fan clubs can chose to support St. Jude as a group endeavor, or individual fans can donate and/or organize fund-raising projects on their own. Fans can keep their fund-raisers simple or make them as elaborate as they wish. Fans have raised money through bake sales, auctions, yard sales, car washes and  benefit concerts.

If a club participates, how are fan club presidents involved?

Country Fans Care is a turnkey program, and taking part is easy. We understand that fan club presidents have little time for additional duties, so the program is structured to make participation as simple as possible for the clubs’ leaders.  

Club presidents can support Fans Care by informing their members of the charitable program through newsletters and their club Web sites. Online banner ads (provided by St. Jude) can be used to link the fan club Web sites to the Country Fans Care Web page, where fans can learn more about St. Jude and make online donations. To keep it simple on the clubs’ leaders, St. Jude representatives will handle the fans’ inquiries regarding donations and fund-raising projects.

When fans contribute to Fans Cares, will the artist they are honoring be notified?

St. Jude will provide fund-raising updates to the celebrities throughout the year. This way, the stars can be proud of their compassionate and dedicated fans.
