Sara Evans' face fills the frame of the Country Cares for St. Jude Kids^® video and her voice rings with sincerity. "Every time I come here to visit," she says of the hospital, "I just go away thanking God for this place. Because it really is a miracle. It's a miracle what happens here."

The rain came down on Nashville, but it did nothing to dampen the spirits of runners, country music fans, and supporters of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital^®. Country singer and running enthusiast Jo Dee Messina organized the May 16th event and rallied over 800 runners to come out for the race to benefit St. Jude.
